Pipefloats & Hosefloats in industrial use

Silver Fern Farms, Te Aroha operate a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) pond as part of their wastewater treatment plant. The SBR pond has an approximate inflow of 2500m3/day. Pipefloats are attached to a 200 diameter flexible rubber hose which pumps the wastewater during the decant phase of the SBR cycle to the next stage of the treatment process. The pipefloats allow the rubber hose to float in the pond at various pond water levels.
